THE GREAT GATSBY SOUNDTRACK (NEW) The XX - Together

The much anticipated The Great Gatsby has been taking quite a while to make its way on the screen but this Baz Luhrmann piece is sure to be a gem. The soundtrack, which is curated by Jay-Z is one of the most exciting parts by far and this new the xx track has me quite excited. In comments on the YouTube page someone noted “they don’t make music, they make magic” and while I do not think this sounds very much like typical xx, I am fairly into it. When thinking about the romanticism within The Great Gatsby, you can see how a contemporary group such as the xx can mold their stylings to fit within this epic story. I personally am excited about this release from Young Turks records and what Gatsby is sure to bring.
